As a Boyertown graduate, a real estate agent at Glocker Realty, and also a proud member of Building a Better Boyertown, I have had the joy of watching our little town grow. I enjoy having any part in helping our community to move forward. I hope this weekly blog will help shine a light on all the great things happening in and around Boyertown, PA

Here is what’s going down during the week of 7/1/2021 – 7/7/2021

POTTSTOWN’S GO FOURTH CELEBRATION IS BACK!

Let the festivities begin! Pottstown’s Fourth of July fireworks & celebration return this year with an all day event! The GoFourth activities begin on July 4th at 11:00am with the Pottstown Rotary Club‘s Independance Day Parade along High Street. Then from 1:00 t0 5:00pm a street festival opens up on high street, with vendors, artisans, food & beer garden, and a kids fun zone! Street fest activities will be set up between Charlotte and York Streets. At 6:00pm you can head over to Memorial Park and grab some dinner and dessert before the highly anticipated fireworks display at 9:00pm. Be sure to bring your family to Pottstown’s GoFourth celebration, it’s sure to be a blast!

  • Live music throughout the day is as follows: Brian Fitzy (1-2 pm), Hector Rosada (2-3 pm), and Modern Luxe (3:30-5 pm).
  • The “Kids Fun Zone” will feature a magician, face-painting, and arts and crafts activities.
  • The Rain Gutter Regatta will be run by Cub Pack and Boy Scouts of America Troop 146, with the start of the official regatta beginning at 3:30 p.m.
  • The Colebrookdale Railroad Fireworks Express will depart at 7 p.m. from the Boyertown station, arriving in plenty of time for the show.

Parking will be available on the parking lot at Montgomery County Community College’s South Hall, 101 College Dr. You can also purchase tickets for parking in the premium viewing area for $25 per car. Purchase tickets here

Here is a list of the firework displays scheduled for this weekend:

Pottstown: Pottstown’s GoFourth celebration is on as scheduled! with events planned throughout the day on 4th of July. Fireworks are slated for 9pm

North Coventry Township: The Norco Fire Company holds its annual Fair in July on the Fire Company Fair Grounds on Route 724, east of the Coventry Mall. This year’s fair is July 2-7 and the fireworks are on Friday, July 2 starting at 9:30pm

Lower Providence: Lower Providence’s 2021 fireworks will be held at dusk on 4th of July. A celebration featuring a DJ begins at 7:30pm at Eagleville Park.

Upper Perk: The Upper Perk Hometown 4th of July Celebration will begin at 9am on July 4th at Goshenhoppen Park in East Greenville. There will be activities throughout the day, followed by the annual fireworks display at 9pm.
