Here is what’s going down during the week of 6/10/2021 – 6/16/2021

THE PHILADELPHIA AVENUE STREET FAIR IS BACK!

Let’s get out on the streets for the 2021 Philadelphia Avenue Street Fair! The Berks-Mont Business Association would like to invite one and all for a fun filled day in the heart of Boyertown. The festivities will take place this Saturday, June 12^th from 10am-4pm, along Philadelphia Ave between Reading Ave and Monroe St. Last year the event was unable to happen, due to Covid, so they are making it bigger and better this year!

There will be plenty to do for all ages. The kids will love climbing the rock wall, doing flips on the trampoline, or jumping to their hearts content on the big moon bounce! There will also be street performers throughout the day, juggling, stilt walking, performing magic, and even a ventriloquist. You will also find an exotic animal show that is always a kid favorite. Be sure to take a break to enjoy some sweet treats from Boyertown Ice Cream & Water Ice Factory, The Peppermint Stick Candy Store, Hardy Funnel Cakes, and Rita’s.

With over 100 vendors, you can shop for local crafts, unique decor, great gifts, and learn about some of the businesses in your community.

What about food and drinks? Are you a foodie? Yes, there will be some great grub to enjoy, such as Los Gios Smoke & Grill, bringing Boyertown his smoked Mexican fusion delights, Brakeman’s Café will have their hand-made delights, and custom hotdogs by Van Pelt Hotdogs. Pair up your meal with beverages from Kiki Vodka or Stirrups Mobile Bar Co!

Let’s dance in the streets to some live music all day! Sunset Skyz Music Duo will kick things of at 10am, followed by Angela Evans Duo at 12pm, and Justin and Glenn at 2pm. Also, DJ Terry Augustine will be bringing you the favorites throughout the entire event!

This year’s Philadelphia Ave Street Fair is sure to be packed full of fun for all ages, so come out and enjoy a beautiful day in the streets of downtown Boyertown!

THE BACKYARD SUMMER CONCERT SERIES begins at Ridgewood Winery on Daffodil Hill Farm in Bechtelsville. The live outdoor music showcase will begin this Saturday at 5pm with the band Pandora’s Boxx! There will be food offered by Scott’s Gyro Box food truck and, of course, wine and wine slushies will also be available for purchase. Live Music + Wine = Good Time!
