SANTA’S COMING TO BOYERTOWN!

To quote the movie Elf, “SANTA! OMG! Santa here?” Yes! This Saturday 12/5 Santa and his elves will be coming to Boyertown for the annual Chillin’ on Chestnut celebration. Building a Better Boyertown brings Christmas cheer to the streets of Boyertown with an event full of family holiday fun. There will be Santa’s workshop, games, crafts, and activities, as well as a kids letter writing station at the YMCA booth. Get your jingle on, shake your booty, and sing along to your favorite Christmas songs performed by the Boyertown Alumni Band. The Salvation Army will help keep you warm by serving up some HOT dogs & HOT chocolate. And of course you will have the opportunity to meet with the big man himself, but make sure you get your spot on Chestnut St by 11AM, so you can see Santa as he comes down the lane on a fire truck, bringing holiday joy to one and all in Boyertown. Updated 12/5 – Unfortunately, Chilin’ on Chestnut has been canceled due to high winds.

*Chillin on Chesnut runs from 11am-2pm on Sat 12/5. Rain or shine*.

RIDE THE TRAIN WITH SANTA on the Colebrookdale Express all month long! Get your tickets early for a fun holiday adventure riding the rails with Santa. The Colebrookdale Railroad is offering two holiday excursions: Santa’s Polar Bear Express & ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. The Polar Bear Express takes you on a journey with Santa as he brings a gift for every child. Sing along to your favorite carols while eating Christmas cookies, drinking hot cocoa, and watching the Secret Valley passes by your window. Or bring the storybook holiday magic to life on ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. Put on your pj’s on and snuggle up with some hot cocoa as you listen to a reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas on this special evening ride. There will also be a visit by Santa as he offers a gift to every child. Either one you choose; you are certain to experience a magical holiday memory that your family will never forget.

ENTER YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE TO WIN a $50 gift card and a handmade Santa by J&R Christmas Crafts! Christmas is the time for giving and Glocker Realty & Insurance wants to give you money! Just take a picture of your Christmas tree and send it to info@glocker.com or through Facebook messenger, from now until Dec 7th. That is all you need to do. Glocker will post all the pictures, and the one who gets the most likes by Dec 13th will be the winner! So, dress up your tree, snap a picture, and win some cash for the holidays!
