It’s Christmas in Boyertown!
This weekend, Boyertown is brimming with holiday cheer, offering a variety of Christmas events for everyone to enjoy! The festivities kick off with the lighting of Boyertown’s Unity Tree, followed by opportunities to explore unique local shops filled with perfect gifts and delightful seasonal treats. The celebration continues as Chillin’ on Main transforms the town into a holiday wonderland, featuring festive markets, family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and, of course, a visit from Santa. And that’s not all—there’s something magical for everyone this season. With the spirit of the holidays in the air, Boyertown is the perfect place to create cherished Christmas memories.
Boyertown Holiday Events this Weekend :
Unity Tree Lighting & Holiday Business Tour! Friday 12/6
Boyertown’s holiday season officially kicks off with the annual lighting of The Unity Tree, featuring a special appearance by Santa at 6 PM! From 5 to 8:30 PM, take a stroll along Boyertown’s charming main streets, where local businesses showcase their holiday spirit with festive lights and decorations, both inside and out. It’s the perfect way to immerse yourself in the magic of the season!
Chillin’ on Main! Saturday 12/7
Visitors of all ages are invited to enjoy a delightful stroll down Philadelphia Avenue, where festively decorated shops and unique vendors offer the perfect opportunity to find that special holiday gift. Local businesses and non-profits will host a variety of games, crafts, and activities for children and families to enjoy together. And don’t forget to keep an eye out for the big guy in red—Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there, happily posing for photos with their fans! Join the fun at Chillin’ on Main, happening from 11 AM to 4 PM on Saturday!
Santa’s Polar Bear Express! Sat 12/7 & Sun 12/8
All aboard “Santa’s Polar Bear Express” all weekend at the Colebrookdale Railroad! Join Santa on a magical adventure into Christmas past on one of the most beautiful train journeys through the Secret Valley. Santa will visit each car, bringing a gift for every child. Children will have an opportunity to give their Christmas letter to him and receive a Colebrookdale Railroad-themed coloring book and crayons. Arrive early to receive complimentary hot cocoa and Christmas cookies in the beautifully decorated train yard before you board
Meet and Greet – Saint Nick of Bethlehem! Sunday 12/8
The State Theatre presents “Saint Nick of Bethlehem” followed by a Q & A with writer, director, actor – Daniel Roebuck. It’s a story about a man who lost his son, became Santa to many, reunites with his love, and brings hope to all. Distraught over losing his son, he finds closure and discovers a new purpose when he takes on the role of Santa Claus. Doors open at 4:00 PM. Movie starting at 4:30 PM.
