Phillies Phrenzy
I was hoping to be writing this with a Phillies 3-1 lead in the World Series, but the Astros threw some water on the fire last night with a no hitter win. Now that they are tied up at two games a piece, it’s a battle for the best of three. Because this Philadelphia Phillies team has shown that they are resilient and determined, I am confident that they can win this series and become the 2022 World Champions!
Watching the Phillies fight through the playoff series, and now the World Series, has been a blast! There have been highs and lows, comebacks, and struggles. It has been baseball at its best. Just like every other Phillies fan out there, I’ve jumped up and down screaming in celebration and also found myself sitting on the edge of my seat with sweat on my brow. The excitement builds from game to game, and with each step forward, the Phils have skyrocketed their fans into a frenzy. No matter how this World Series ends (which I hope is a World Series parade in Philly), the Fightin’ Phils have played some magnificent baseball and made their fans proud. Let’s go Phillies!
