The Great Maze Craze!
Corn mazes are one of the most anticipated activities of the fall season. Whether you are chasing your little ones through the maze or gathering your friends for a fun adventure through the stalks, this rural phenomenon has become a “must do” for ages young and old. Testing your directional skills, teamwork, or just letting the road take you where it may, these are a few of the things that draw crowds to the labyrinth of maize each year. So, the wait is over… the mazes have opened… and we are lucky enough to have three of the best corn mazes right here in the Boyertown area! They all offer a little sumpin’ different, so maybe you challenge yourself to do all three this year? Don’t forget to bring your pumpkin spice beverage! 🙂
Here are the a-maze-ing corn mazes around us…
Abby’s Pumpkins has a large corn maze, tractor hayrides, an apple slingshot, and sometimes the owner blasts-off a pumpkin canon that shoots pumpkins hundreds of feet through the air! Of course, there are plenty of pumpkins for sale too. It all begins on October 1st and runs Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 6pm until the end of the month. 2471 Little Rd Perkiomenville, PA 18074
The Gilbertsville Farm has a Hi-Tech corn maze! It takes between 1-2 hours to complete. Other activities include hayrides, kids play area, pumpkins, and barn yard animals. The corn Maze is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10am to 10pm. 1200 County Line Road Gilbertsville, PA 19525
Wilcox Farms Corn Maze features the area’s largest corn maze! There is also a separate kids maze and hayrides! The farm market has fresh produce, flowers, and pumpkins. The kids corn maze is open daily 9am to 6pm. The large corn maze is open Friday & Saturday 9am to midnight and Sunday 9am to 9pm. 1134 South Reading Ave Boyertown, PA 19512
