DIY Backyard Games!
Summer is in full swing and outdoor fun is abound! The warm weather brings backyard BBQ’s, weekend campouts, beach vacations, etc. Whether you are home or away, keeping the kids active or hosting a gathering, backyard games can be the perfect pairing for any situation. Best of all, they are fun for all ages! That doesn’t mean you have to run out and buy a bunch of expensive games. You can make them yourself with minimal skills, time, and expense. Heck, you can make it a family project and have the kids help too! So, jazz up your summer experience with outdoor activities that will be fun for all!

Hula Hoop Croquet Yard Game
Croquet is a fine yard game in and of itself, but the hula hoop version makes the game a little more kid-friendly. Grab some hula hoops and rubber balls from the Dollar Store and you’re all set. See instructions here: Hula Hoop Croquet
Ladder Golf
Ladder Golf is a tethered ball toss where players try to get their roped balls around the rungs of a three-tiered ladder. No worries about losing track of the score, this ladder golf is finished with a few coats of chalk paint so you can keep tally. See instructions here: Ladder Golf
Glow-In-the-Dark Bowling

Giant Jenga
Homemade giant Jenga game is sure to keep everyone on the edge of their seat with the anticipation of who will be the one to make the blocks come tumbling down. Lawn Twister

Water Cup Races

Cornhole
