Here is what’s going down during the week of 6/30/2022 – 7/6/2022
Fourth of July Fireworks!
This Monday, July 4th marks America’s 246th year of independence from Britain. The yearly celebration is synonymous with big backyard bbq’s where family and friends gather for an afternoon of summer fun. No matter where you find yourself this holiday weekend, whether you’re down the shore, or in the mountains, or at a backyard gathering, it has become tradition to top off the celebration with a Fourth of July firework spectacle.
Each year, as I gaze into the night sky filled with colorful explosions of fiery beauty, I think about the words written in the Star Spangled Banner…
“And the rocket’s red glare
The bombs bursting in air
Gave proof through the night
That our flag was still there“
It makes me realize how important this day is, and the hard-fought battles of our forefathers to make America the land of the free. I also think about to how lucky I am to be born in such an amazing country.

Here is a list of the firework displays in the area:
Bechtelsville: Morning Star Fellowship is hosting the Community Celebration and Fireworks on Friday, July 1st. Begining at 5pm there will be yard games, carnival games, inflatables, petting zoo, music, food and more! The fireworks will start around 9:15pm
Phoenixville: The annual Phoenixville Fireworks Independence Day Celebration is held at Friendship Field on Saturday, July 2nd. The fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m.
Upper Perk: Upper Perk Hometown 4th of July Celebration will begin at 8am on Monday, July 4th at Goshenhoppen Park in East Greenville. There will be activities throughout the day, followed by the annual fireworks display at 9pm.
Pottstown: Pottstown’s GoFourth celebration! This is the largest celebration in the area, with events planned throughout the day and night starting at 10:15am on Monday, July 4th. The huge firework finale is slated for 9:30pm
Boyertown: Avoid the traffic and parking by taking a scenic ride in the July 4th Fireworks Express to Pottstown’s GoFourth festival on the Colebrookdale Railroad! The train leaves at 7pm on Monday, July 4th. After arrival at Pottstown’s Memorial Park you can enjoy the festivities and fireworks then take the train ride home. Choo-choo!
Limerick: Waltz Golf Farm will host their July 4th celebration on Monday July 4th. Live music by Highway Run (Journey tribute band) will begin at 7pm. The fireworks will begin at Dusk.
Lower Providence: All American July 4th Fireworks will be held at dusk on 4th of July. A celebration featuring Sound Sensational DJ’s begins at 7:30pm at Eagleville Park.
North Coventry Township: The Norco Fire Company holds its annual Norco Fair 0n July 4-9. There will be carnival rides and games, and the Sly Fox Beer Garden will be open nightly. The fireworks will be held on Friday, July 8 starting at 10:00pm
